Miss You Every Moment of Everyday!

Montana,
Boy oh Boy, do I miss the daily phone calls, asking if I ordered chinese food.    Sometimes, I try to make the jokes you did, just to hear them, but they never work as well as when you did 'em.
 We miss you!!!!!

When I think about my brother, I always wish I had more time--more time to appreciate him, more time to share with him.   I don't however need to wish for more time to love him, because whether he's here on earth with me or not,

I love him.

One year in heaven came so quick.  I remember Nov 25,2007 as if it were yesterday.  We had gotten home from our family cruise the night before and Tony wanted to go to his apartment.  The next morning we were all tired and just wanted to hang around.  I called Ton at about 11am and he said he had just woken up and was going to take his shower.  We talked a little longer and then I told him I'd call him a little later.  Unfortunately. that later never came.   When I tried calling him later, he didn't answer, so I headed over to his place and that's when a piece of my heart was taken.

On March 23,1992, my mom died of a heart attack.  I remember asking God "How could you take the mom of 5 young children away like this?   I also remember the first person who I cried on when I got to the hospital..my big brother Tony.   Tony was only 4 years older than me and in pain himself, but as my big brother, he didn't push me away, instead he opened his arms and let me cry on him.

Tony was a special type of guy and I truly believe he will remain with me forever, as does my mom.  On this one year mark of his death, I remember.....

We booked a flight up to NY for the funeral on Southwest.  Southwest has an open seating policy, where you pick your seat as you board.   Chelsea and Nick always sit near me and then Gary in the set of seats closest to us.   Well, the flight was packed--very few seats empty.  But low and behold, the seat right next to Gary was empty--no one sat there.   As we were flying, I looked over at the empty seat and thought--"Yeah Montana, you're with us!"   Somehow it seemed everyone on board knew that Montana should have been flying with us and they saved that seat for him!

I love you Ton......

Tony,

The day you walked me down the aisle, I will never forget.   I will never forget what you told me as we sat and waited in the limo.    You were and always will be the GREATEST BIG BROTHER a girl could ever dream to have!!!!!!!!

If giving you the futon would bring you back.....You'd have it without a second thought!

When we were younger, Tony always thought he was hot stuff because he was the oldest and got to go out more than any of us.  And one day he decided to go to McDonalds with his friend Lonnie to get a vanilla shake without telling Mommy.  And there comes Tony about an hour later, happily strolling up the stairs, so happy that he got a shake and I couldnt.  Little did he knew what awaited him at the top of the stairs -- no other than Mommy with a belt.  Boy did Tony get the beating of a life time and there was I standing there feeling so bad and Mommy made me drink the shake as punishment to Tony.  I said I didn't want it, but she said if you don't drink it Gina, you'll get the belt.  What was a girl to do, so I drank the shake with Tony staring at me the whole time in disbelief.  Sorry Tony, but vanilla shakes were never the same again.
